These words are the host's. This guidebook is not legal, safety, or medical advice. Confirm the details before a guest relies on them.

Create guest guidebooks, print them, and share a stable link. A Pro account is required. Checkout is not open on this page.

How this is calculated

Opening this page adds an anonymous count. The count does not include what you type.

Core formula

guidebook = the sections you leave on, in the order you set

Assumptions

  • A signed-in Pro account can create, edit, duplicate, and delete guidebooks. There is no limit on how many. Checkout is not open, and this page does not charge. Pro access is added to an existing account.
  • Each guidebook has ten sections: welcome, arrival and departure, Wi-Fi, house rules, appliances, parking, local picks, emergency contacts, checkout, and a custom section. Turn a section off, or leave it blank, and it stays out of the guest view. Move a section up or down to change the order.
  • The Wi-Fi join code uses the same connection text as the Wi-Fi card. An open network has no password. The code contains the password as readable text when the password is shown.
  • Local picks and parking can include a place name. The page turns that text into Google Maps, Apple Maps, and OpenStreetMap search links. It does not look up a business, a neighborhood, or an emergency number.
  • Hide the door code and Wi-Fi password to leave them off the share link and the printout. The saved guidebook on the account still has them. Anyone with the share link can open that page. The link is not listed for search engines.
  • Print uses the guest view. For a PDF, choose Print, then Save as PDF. Set margins to default and turn headers and footers off. The PDF is created by the browser.
  • Saving sends the guidebook to this site and stores it for the account. The other tools on bnbutils still keep what you type in the browser. The guidebook is your wording. It is not legal, safety, or medical advice.

The welcome book generator still prints in the browser with no account. The Wi-Fi card, the house rules sheet, and the emergency card do the same for those single pages.

Questions

Do I need an account?

Yes. The guidebook is a Pro tool. Sign in with a Pro account to create one. The page stays public so you can see an example first. Checkout is not open, and this page does not charge.

Who can open the share link?

Anyone with the link can read that guidebook. They do not need an account. Only the account that saved it can edit or delete it. Search engines are asked not to index the share link.

Can I leave the door code off the link?

Yes. Turn on hide the door code and Wi-Fi password, then save. The share page and the printout leave those two out. The copy stored on the account still has them.

Does bnbutils suggest local places or an emergency number?

No. Map links only search the place name you type. The emergency number starts empty. The page does not fill either one in.
